Bike in Cortina means not only fat wheels, but also road wheels… Also try the new Bike Park for downhill lovers and the brand new skill park for the kids, where they can make their first steps on mountain bike trails of various difficulties, and under the supervision of expert instructors.

Cortina | Trekking and Hiking

In the area of D’Ampezzo there are over 400 kilometers of marked trails that can be traveled on foot, alone or accompanied by professional experts. Easy walks through meadows and forests, walking rings with great landscapes and fascinating excursions at altitude.

And then, again, more demanding climbing routes along stony canyons and trips to the peaks of Dolomites, to discover often lesser-known aspects about the real holiday in the mountains.


A specially fascinating path is the one that runs along the famous Dolomites railway rout, abondened in 1962, and is used now for major sporting events in summer and winter.

The path runs between bridges, embankments and tunnels and is now a great place for wonderful walks suitable for children and adults alike.


Summer in Cortina | Running

Starting from Cortina and arriving in Dobbiaco: the path of classical Cortina Dobbiaco Run that will commit the race fans. The international competition will take place along the route of the former railway that once linked the town of Belluno with the South Tyrol.

A race that ends in Dobbiaco after 30 km, between landscapes immersed in nature, bridges and tunnels. A fascinating journey through the Dolomites slightly uphill until you reach the Cimabanche Pass, which divides the two cities, and then downhill towards Lake Landro, from where shortly afterwards you can admire the imposing Tre Cime di Lavaredo.

Summer in Cortina | Tennis

There are numerous locations where You can play and practice tennis in Cortina.

Stadio Apollonius, for example, offers from May to September 5 outdoor tennis courts ( 2 buries red and 3 synthetic grass).

There is also the Tennis Club, open all year in locality Sopiazes – with outdoor and indoor tennis courts.
